You didn't think we'd let free agency roll by without a Tyler Thigpen mention, did you?
The former Chiefs QB is a free agent and, according to Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel, Thigpen's on his way to Buffalo after agreeing to a three-year deal. Thigpen was in Miami the last two years after the Chiefs traded him there early in the 2009 season.
That's quite the Chiefs connection there in Buffalo. Thigpen is a former Chiefs QB and his offensive coordinator at the time, Chan Gailey, is now the Bills head coach.
Thigpen may be behind Ryan Fitzpatrick on the Bills QB depth chart but I wouldn't mind seeing the Thigbone offense in Buffalo.
By the way, the Chiefs play the Bills on Sept. 11 to kick off the 2011 season. I wonder who the Bills quarterback will be...
