Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp Schedule Could Start Thursday

[Update No. 3Full Chiefs training camp schedule is out.]

[Update No. 2Back to Thursday.....]

[Update No. 1: And of course NFL Network changes their story: "Based on new info, now looks like the earliest Training Camps will be allowed to open is Friday, July 29."]

File this all under unofficial right now but the league-owned NFL Network is reporting on the start dates for each team's training camp schedule. For the Kansas City Chiefs, that would be Thursday, according to the report.

We've yet to hear anything official out of One Arrowhead Drive so keep that in mind but I assume they're waiting until it's all officially official. We'll update when they confirm the date.

If the report is accurate, it would basically mean no disruption to Chiefs training camp. The rules in the previous CBA said they could start camp 15 days before their first preseason game and that date is Thursday so if the rules are the same then no camp time will be missed.

Some players are starting to arrive in Kansas City. Thanks to the power of technology we know that Brandon Flowers' latest tweet was sent from Kansas City so he's back in town (and not training in Egypt as he claimed).

Remember, as the NFL lockout has taught us over the past few months, nothing is official until it's signed, sealed and delivered.
