Yahoo! Fantasy Football supports SB Nation and pigskin awesomeness. It’s also the #1 Fantasy Football game thanks to dazzling player research, instant stats with free live scoring, iPhone, Android, and iPad apps this season. Plus, new scoring categories for long receptions and rush plays. (Yes!) Sign up at yahoo.com/fantasyfootball

The 2011 Fantasy Football season is nearly upon us and Arrowhead Pride has teamed up with Yahoo! Sports to bring you our official Fantasy Football League for 2011.

I've used Yahoo!'s Fantasy Football service in the past and for a free league, their product is pretty darn good. We're going to have 16 teams, with four divisions. 16 players sounds like a tad much to me but I didn't want a weird, three division set up either.

The rules and scoring are basically set as the Yahoo! Fantasy defaults: 25 passing yards per point, 10 yards per point for both running backs and wide receivers, etc. Once we get a group of 16 set up, we can decide on rule and scoring changes if we'd like.

So, if you'd like to be one of the 16 players, please e-mail me at chris.thorman@sbnation.com and I will send you instructions for the league. If there is enough interest, we may end up doing a number of leagues.

And for those of you who want to check out some other leagues, here are more Arrowhead Pride leagues that have been started:

People are free to continue starting new leagues on here as well. Obviously, it would be nice if you used Yahoo! Fantasy Leagues. I think most people around here will agree that Yahoo! puts out a good product. You can start a free league here and there are a few more notes on Yahoo!'s Fantasy Leagues after the jump.
