Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is participating in the "secret" talks between owners and players this week, according to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello. He's not alone as far as Chiefs reps go -- Mike Vrabel was involved as well. And for your former Chiefs quota, you can include Tony Richardson in there.

The NFL and NFLPA met last week prior to Friday's meeting with the Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and those meetings continue this week, the two sides confirmed in a joint statement.

NFL owners and players continue to be engaged in confidential discussions before Chief Magistrate Judge Boylan. Both sides met again this week as part of ongoing court mediation. Those discussions are expected to continue.

Other owners taking part in the talks this week: Panthers' Jerry Richardson, Chargers' Dean Spanos, Patriots' Robert Kraft and Giants' John Mara. Other players taking part in the talks this week: Kevin Mawae, Dominique Foxworth and Jeff Saturday. Of course, that also includes NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the NFLPA's DeMaurice Smith.

Let's hope something gets done.
