Yet Another Jamaal Charles Is Awesome Stat

It seems that just about every week someone comes out with a stat basically saying Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles is pretty awesome. Pro Football Focus is that site today as they go back and compile their grades of all running backs over the last three years.

Can you guess who came in first place from 2008-2010?

It may seem weird to have Charles here given that he's only really shown what he can do over the past year and a half, but in that time, he's been nothing short of breathtaking. He's picked up 2,668 yards (including the post season) at an almost unbelievable 6.2 yards per carry. Throw in that he's a capable blocker, and it's only really his work as a receiver that lets him down, but not so much that it stands out.

Charles really only played in half of the games in that time. After LJ went Twitter crazy midway through the 2009 season, Charles took over and, as PFF notes, has been "breathtaking".

Here are some other stories on Charles' stats: He's awesomeawesomer, and awesomest.
