We noted this morning that there would be an NFL owners meeting in Chicago on Tuesday and it appears several owners are already arriving for the festivities.
Albert Breer of NFL Network is in Chicago spotting NFL owners on this humid Monday afternoon:
Among owners spotted: Jerry Richardson, Jerry Jones, Pat Bowlen, Dean Spanos, John Mara, Art Rooney, Mike Brown and Clark Hunt. Also here [are] NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, general counsel Jeff Pash, and outside counsel Bob Batterman.
Those are some of the members of the league's labor committee while a larger group of others will arrive on Tuesday. The labor committee, which includes Hunt, will meet today.
Peter King of SI.com reported in MMQB this morning that there would be an owner plus another executive from each team. I wonder who that would be from the Chiefs. Scott Pioli? Mark Donovan? Someone else? I'm not sure.
Here's to seeing some positive headlines over the next few days...
