Friday Night Open Thread

I don't know about where you are but in Washington, DC, it is freakin' hot. I'm talking record breaking, heat wave hot. And the office I'm currently in has a roof that is about half windows. Which is great for getting natural light in but it also makes the entirely second floor feel like a hot car in the summer. I've actually been sitting here working with ice packs on the back of my neck.

I can tell from watching just a bit of the weather this week that most of you are experiencing or did experience some kind of heat wave this week. The big difference here in DC? The humidity, man. It's just killer here. Give me 105 and dry in Austin, TX, over 90 and humid in DC any day of the week. 

So, I gotta say my victory of the week is not being forced to shower and change clothes here at work because of the heat. I was close a few times. And I had a few professional victories but they're geeky search stuff that frankly nobody wants to hear.
