Another Former Kansas City Chiefs Update

We noted this morning that there was a small Kansas City Chiefs connection in a recent trade in the Arena Football League and more news comes across this morning with a slight Chiefs connection.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL have announced several signings and included is a former Chief -- LB David Hicks.

Hicks, a 6-2, 236-pound native of El Dorado, Arkansas, played four seasons (2003-06) at Grambling State before signing with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs in 2007.  He also gained experience with the New York Giants and the Arena Football League's Dallas Vigilantes.

Once again, I do not remember this player at all. Looks like he was released in 2007, one year and one month after we started this website. If you've been in the NFL, that's something that will included on your resume for the rest of your life.

And random note about the story linked above: I like how they call offensive tackle "American offensive tackle".

I wonder how many barely-recognizable-former-Chiefs stories we can come out with today...
