Kansas City Chiefs Approval Poll Results

New, comments
We've completed our monthly approval poll ratings and it appears Kansas City Chiefs fans are pretty happy with the product on the field.

After making the playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season, voters were overwhelming in their approval of Chiefs GM Scott Pioli and head coach Todd Haley. Clark Hunt on the other hand...well, the lockout is hurting him in our approval polls. He was at an all-time low this month.

Here's a snapshot of the results from this month with about 4,300 total votes:
Todd Haley (94 percent approval): There were over 1,400 votes and just 21 people did not approve of Haley, which amounted to one percent. Another three percent -- 57 votes -- aren't sure what they think. That's a pretty impressive statement by Chiefs fans on how they feel about their head coach.

Scott Pioli (97 percent approval): This is one of the craziest polls we've ever seen -- 1,630 total votes and a whopping six people do not approve of the job Pioli is doing as Chiefs GM. That's under one half percent of Chiefs fans that would vote him out of office. 36 voters -- or two percent -- aren't sure what they think of him. That adds up to a 97 percent approval rating for Pioli. Impressive.

Clark Hunt (66 percent approval): This is an example of voters voicing their displeasure of the lockout. Hunt has, for the most part, enjoyed ratings over 90 percent but with the lockout in full force, voters aren't approving the job Clark Hunt is doing at a pretty high-rate. I don't think there's much cause for concern here, though. I predict once the lockout is over that Hunt will revert back to his 90-plus ratings.
