I've rounded up some AFC West related links for you this afternoon. We've got lots of Broncos and Raiders talk but not too much out there on the Chargers. Doesn't it always seem like there is less coverage of the Chargers than the other AFC West teams?
Anyway, here are the links. Enjoy.
Charges against Dumervil dismissed | Denver Post
A Denver court dismissed all charges Thursday against Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil. He had been cited with assault and disturbing the peace following an argument with a parking lot attendant at Invesco Field at Mile High prior the Broncos’ game Oct. 24 against the Oakland Raiders. The incident occured when Dumervil forgot his player credential and was not allowed in by the parking attendant.
Leaf passes torch to Russell | April
"If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning." – Catherine Aird That statement has never been more true than in the case of JaMarcus Russell. When Hawaii calls, Hue Jackson is there to answer. The Oakland Raiders head coach was among those who attended Hawaii’s pro day this week. Unfortunately for him, the workouts were actually held at a Home Depot in Carson, Calif.
It seems that the Broncos can broker their pick with one of those teams, even Buffalo at No. 3, to get the other team's first-round pick and possibly a second. Which team would be more likely to trade a one and two using the formula for valuing draft picks?
As Tim Tebow, naked to the waist, parades across our TV screens in a new underwear commercial, he gives a more compelling portrayal as a sexy salesman than an NFL quarterback on the rise. The Broncos' 23-year-old virgin can do no wrong. But is he the best quarterback for the job in Denver?
After months of speculation of who the Denver Broncos will draft, the picture has become a little bit clearer, but the positions the Broncos have been scouting are raising some eyebrows.
