SB Nation has draft grades for every first round pick.

After each day of the 2011 NFL Draft, we will ask you the AP community to grade the Kansas City Chiefs' decisions. While most Kansas City Chiefs fans approved of the selection of Jon Baldwin (or is it Jonathan?), it appears others questioned the move.

Silver and Black Pride gave the Chiefs' first round a C- grade. Brian Galliford over at SBNation.com gave the Chiefs a C as well. What gives?

Well it seems that most people are knocking the Chiefs down a few grades because they didn't feel that Baldwin was a first round talent. Seems like most people felt he could have even been available when the Chiefs pick at No. 55 in the second round.

This morning, we're asking you to grade a couple of aspects of the Kansas City Chiefs' first round:

  • The initial trade back from No. 21 to No. 27, which netted the Chiefs an extra third round pick; and,
  • The actual selection of Pittsburgh WR Jonathan Baldwin.
After reading up on Jon Baldwin more, and knowing about his relationship with Larry Fitzgerald, I'm confident that the Kansas City Chiefs had all of the proper information to ensure Baldwin was worth the No. 27 pick. NFL Draft Grade: B+.
