NFL Draft 2011: What Are You Doing For The Draft?

New, comments

We are exactly one week out from the 2011 NFL Draft and that means people are starting to make draft day plans. The Kansas City Chiefs themselves are hosting a draft party, which is open to the public. KCChiefs.com has the details:

Join the Kansas City Chiefs at their annual Draft Day Party on Thursday, April 28th at the North Club in Arrowhead Stadium. The NFL Draft serves as the centerpiece of the offseason, with teams building their roster for the future with young talent.

Fans can enjoy local draft coverage with "Voice of the Chiefs" Mitch Holthus of the Chiefs Radio Network, Chiefs Insider Josh Looney and Soren Petro of Sports Radio 810 WHB. Special appearances will be made by Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, General Manager Scott Pioli, Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach Bill Muir and Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel.

Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. (CT) with the draft beginning at 7:00 p.m. (CT) live from New York City, with the Chiefs scheduled to make the 21st overall selection.

Joel will be covering the NFL Draft over at SBNation.com which means....You're stuck with me for the draft! Yes, I know you're very excited.

My draft coverage plans involve basically sitting on the couch with the NFL Network playing non-stop. My laptop will of course never be more than 5 feet away from me all weekend.

So, how about you? What are you doing for the NFL Draft next week? Who all is going to the Chiefs' draft day party at Arrowhead?
