Is it too early to talk about Week 1 odds for the 2011 NFL season?

I hope not because odds for the first week of the season have been released. The Kansas City Chiefs will start off on a good note if you believe the NFL odds. The Chiefs are seven point favorites over the Buffalo Bills. That represents the largest line of the week.

This matches up with what Bills fans are thinking. Brian Galliford from Buffalo Rumblings wrote on Tuesday that he's looking forward to the Chiefs and Bills game but also says that it will be a difficult one.
First and foremost, I love that Buffalo is starting the season off in Arrowhead Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills have performed well in Arrowhead over the last several years, the crowd will be absolutely bonkers, and the Chiefs represent kind of the next phase of where the Bills want to be as a franchise - a playoff contender on the cusp of something more. Fantastic, if difficult, way to start the year.
So there are some teams that now want to be like the Chiefs. Pretty cool, huh?

Other highlights from the Week 1 odds include the San Diego Chargers as 6.5 point favorites over the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers as 3.5 point favorites over the New Orleans Saints.
