Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles Aims For The Hall Of Fame

Apparently this is now Jamaal Charles day. The Kansas City Chiefs RB is appearing on a variety of ESPN platforms to talk about him "whooping" Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow in the Madden '12 cover tournament.

Charles' latest appearance is a chat on where he said he's aiming for the Pro Football Hall of Fame:

"I really don't look for the hype and everything. I'll just keep putting up the numbers and let it talk for themselves. I'm not trying to be a superstar in this league, I'm trying to be a hall of famer. They can keep hyping the other RBs to be superstars."

Big time goals for someone who showed in 2009 and 2010 they were a big time player.

Check out Charles' entire chat at The most surprising part to me was the revelation that he enjoys CiCi's Pizza the day before games. If you're not familiar with CiCi's Pizza, then you probably haven't been a poor college student with only $3.99 in your pocket looking for a pizza buffet that gives you the most bang for your buck. (As you can guess, I ate a lot of CiCi's Pizza in college.) Interesting choice of cuisine for Mr. Charles.

Here are a few highlights of his chat:

On what Arrowhead is like on game day: "Have you ever watched Spartaca, the arena? That's how I would describe. It's exactly the same."

On who the Chiefs should draft in April: "We have a good group of guys right now, but to improve, I think we need another WR, OL. A WR to help Dwayne Bowe. And a OL, because I'm a RB and we can always use more of them."

On what it would mean to be on the cover of Madden '12: "Dream come true. I know I would make a lot of people back home proud of me to make it this far. And I know I would make the community back in KC proud too. And it would be thanks to the fans."

On who has the best barbecue, Kansas City or Texas: "I'm going to have to go with the home state in Texas. But I won't lie, Oklahoma Joe's is one of the best BBQ places."

On playing fantasy football: "I would draft myself if I played it. But I don't play it."
