Courtesy of Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, we have word that University of Florida DE/OLB Justin Trattou will workout for the Kansas City Chiefs' linebacker coaches today. Trattou is a 6'4", 255 pound senior from Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey.

NFL Draft Scout rates Trattou as the 29th best defensive end in the draft. He is not projected to be selected in the 2011 NFL Draft. As I've mentioned before, undrafted free agent linebackers are going to get hard looks from the Chiefs based on KC's 3-4 defense (four linebackers in the scheme) and based on the fact that linebackers generally make athletic special teams players.

Trattou was the defensive captain for the Florida football team in 2010. He had his best statistical year last season - 57 tackles, one pick and he played in every single game for the Gators.
