Still Waiting On NFL, NFLPA In CBA Negotiations

The NFL and NFLPA negotiations continue.

Gary Myers of the NY Daily News reports there's "less pessimism" in the room today, which is a good sign I suppose.

According to Daniel Kaplan of Sports Business Journal, the NFL made a final proposal to the NFLPA that included some revisions on "core issues" involved in the negotiations. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has the "freedom to move drastically" in the negotiations, according to Peter King of SI.com.

The CBA expires at midnight tonight but the union would have to file for decertification before the work day is over. So that leaves us waiting once again.

Just like last week, the best we're hoping for right now is another extension.
