Brian Waters, Mike Vrabel Join NFL, NFLPA Negotiations Again

New, comments

The NFL and NFL Player's Association agreed to seven consecutive days of negotiations along with a federal mediator. No one's talking on whether progress is actually being made but talking has to be a good sign, no?

Joining the NFLPA for the second consecutive day is Kansas City Chiefs G Brian Waters and LB Mike Vrabel. They were in on the negotiations yesterday and today they're joined by current players Denver Broncos S Brian Dawkins and Indianapolis Colts C Jeff Saturday.

Albert Breer of NFL Network reports that all four players were originally scheduled to be in Indianapolis last night, presumably for the NFL Combine.

As far as progress being made, this is what Breer was able to get out of Saturday: "Anytime you're talking it's always good. We're continuing to talk, so we'll see how it goes."

Next up in the labor talks is a meeting with all NFL GMs and head coaches on Thursday afternoon and then on Friday the NFLPA will host an all-agent meeting.
