Former San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs LB Lew Bush passed away of an apparent heart attack on Thursday night, according to a statement from the Chargers.
Bush was originally drafted by the Chargers in 1993 and played in San Diego for seven seasons. He came to the Chiefs in 2000 and spent three seasons with the team accumulating 69 tackles, one sack and one interception.
Bush was only 42 (!) years old when he passed away. That's so young.
He was recently a pregame commentator for the Chargers radio broadcasts. He was part of the Chargers 1994 Super Bowl team.
He was last listed at 6'2" and 250 pounds.
