December Approval Polls For Kansas City Chiefs Brass Are Very Low

Kansas City, we have a problem.

Our monthly approval polls for the Kansas City Chiefs brass in December 2011 are collectively the lowest they've ever been in our two and a half years of tracking them. Head coach Todd Haley and GM Scott Pioli had the lowest ratings we've ever seen for them and owner Clark Hunt had his third lowest month since we started tracking these.

With over 2,000 votes, Haley was at 41 percent this month, which is the lowest we've ever seen for him. The next closest month came in December 2009 when he was at 48 percent. Out of 2,599 votes in December 2010, 10 did not approve.

With nearly 2,000 votes, Pioli was at 43 percent this month which, like Haley, is the lowest we've seen for him since we started tracking these in February 2009. His previous low was in October 2011 when he was at 53 percent. In December 2010, we had 1,850 votes in the Pioli approval poll and just nine voted do not approve. Nine.

With over 1,100 votes, Hunt was at 47 percent, which is the third lowest month we've seen from him. His ratings are following a general downward trend since March (when the lockout started).
