The Chiefs announced this news over the weekend but it got lost in the shuffle...
Last week the Kansas City Chiefs added two players to the practice squad and just a few days later one of those guys has been released.
The Chiefs announced they've let go of WR Zeke Markshausen from the practice squad and added WR Jamar Newsome, who was released from the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad last Friday.
Newsome comes out of Central Florida this year and signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. He was released a few weeks into the season and then signed to the Steelers practice squad in early November, where he's been until Friday.
NFL.com lists Newsome at 6'1" and 201 pounds. He's 24 years old and hasn't recorded a catch this season.
