Romeo Crennel is the Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator so he had to be proud to see two of his guys -- LB Tamba Hali and LB Derrick Johnson -- voted into the Pro Bowl. He talked about the Chiefs duo of Pro Bowlers at Wednesday's media session.
"We're excited about the news we heard yesterday that Derrick Johnson and Tamba Hali were elected to the Pro Bowl," Crennel said, via NFLN. "It's an honor. Both guys have worked extremely hard in the class room, practice field and on the field. It's always nice to be recognized by the voters."
Those voters were made up equal parts of fans, coaches and players.
"Both men are appreciative of it," Crennel continued, "and they're appreciative of their teammates because they know they can't do it by themselves."
It sure seems like DJ and Tamba do an awful lot themselves.
"Of course everyone can't get voted in," Crennel said, "so I'm sure there are some guys that are disappointed they weren't chosen but I think they're happy for Derrick and Tamba as far as our team goes."
One player that's disappointed was OT Brandon Albert, who wrote on Twitter last night: "Im not going to lie im pissed".
Does Albert have a good argument on the Pro Bowl?
