Chiefs' Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson Are In The 2012 Pro Bowl

The NFL announced the 2012 Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday evening and the Kansas City Chiefs had two players represented -- LB Tamba Hali and LB Derrick Johnson. (View the complete 2012 Pro Bowl rosters here.)

Clearly, both are terrific choices.

Hali has 12 sacks on the season and once again will be near the top compared to his peers in the AFC. He's the Chiefs best pass rusher and even to this day it seems he's still underrated across the league. Tamba was voted as a Pro Bowl alternate last year but declined to attend.

DJ is having a career year and this continues his rise over the last two seasons. DJ was a Pro Bowl alternate last year.

Neither player are starters -- that goes to Terrell Suggs and Von Miller on the outside and Ray Lewis on the inside.

Like last year, the Super Bowl participants will not be playing in the Pro Bowl which means we'll see a lot of alternates announced in the coming weeks so this might not be the end of Chiefs in the Pro Bowl.

The Chiefs had five Pro Bowlers last season.

Kudos to DJ and Tamba on terrific seasons.
