2012 Pro Bowl Rosters Announced Tonight

The NFL will announce the 2012 Pro Bowl rosters on NFL Network this evening at 6:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time). The Kansas City Chiefs will probably have a couple of guys on the roster but they didn't have a single player as the leading vote-getter at his position in the fans' vote.

A vote from the fans, players and coaches are all weighted equally to determine the rosters. The game will be played on January 29th in Honolulu between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl, which means the Super Bowl participants won't play in the Pro Bowl.

The Chiefs have several candidates for the Pro Bowl. A few I would think about include:

WR Dwayne Bowe: He hasn't had the season he had last year but he's been solid this year with 1,066 receiving yards and five touchdowns. I'm not sure if he makes it.

LB Tamba Hali: You gotta think Hali makes it as he has 12 sacks right now. That's near the tops in the AFC.

LB Derrick Johnson: The stats don't do him justice. He's been terrific this year and, in my opinion, is the biggest lock of any Chief to make the Pro Bowl.

CB Brandon Flowers: We always talk about him as a Pro Bowl candidate but there's a ton of talent at cornerback in the AFC.

K Ryan Succop: I'm not sure he has the name recognition to make it but he's had a solid year (until last Sunday).

FB Le'Ron McClain: He's been pushing for it on Twitter and he has enough name recognition at a position that usually gets in based on name recognition.
