AFC West Playoff Scenarios: Down To Broncos Or Raiders

The Kansas City Chiefs have been officially eliminated from the AFC playoff picture but they'll still have a say in who gets in and who doesn't. The Chiefs play the Denver Broncos in Week 17, which is one of a few key games in Week 17.

Here's the AFC West playoff picture at the moment:

Chiefs vs. Broncos: If Denver wins, they clinch the AFC West title and they'll host a playoff game in January. (Ugh - makes me sick thinking about that.) But if the Chiefs beat the Broncos, they'll open the door for the Raiders to win the AFC West (if Oakland can win).

Chargers-Raiders: If the Chiefs beat the Broncos, and the Raiders beat the Chargers, then Oakland is your division champion. Yes, the team that lost at least 11 games from 2003 to 2009 could win the division.

If both the Broncos and Raiders lose, Denver wins the division.

Who do you think comes out of this one next week? I think Oakland can do it.
