No Surprise But Tim Tebow Expected To Be Broncos 2012 Starter

The Kansas City Chiefs can plan on seeing Tim Tebow and that option offense next season. Denver Broncos' VP of football operations, John Elway, talked to the Associated Press this week and gave the strongest indication yet that Tebow will be the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos in 2012.

"Tim Tebow's not going anywhere," Elway said, per the AP. "I mean, he's going to be a Bronco and we're going to do everything we can and hopefully he's that guy."

Our Broncos blog, Mile High Report, writes: "I think it is obvious, if it wasn't before, that Tim Tebow will be the starting QB for the Broncos in 2012."

Normally something like this isn't a story but Elway hasn't exactly come of as fully committed to Tebow so it's noteworthy that Tebow will more than likely be the Broncos starter next season (which should be a no-brainer after winning seven of nine starts this year).

For the Chiefs, this means that we'll likely be seeing Tebow and that funky offense not only January 1 of this year but in the 2012 season as well. The Chiefs will have seen Tebow twice by the time next season starts so you would think they'd have an advantage due simply to experience playing him.

But before we get ahead of ourselves...we're just hoping the Week 17 matchup against Tebow means something (which means....Go Bills!)
