Romeo Crennel Confirms Kyle Orton Starting Vs. Packers

The Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback will be....

Kyle Orton!

Indeed, Romeo Crennel confirmed on Friday (via @AdamTeicher) what he's been hinting at all week -- Orton will start on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Orton suffered a finger injury in Week 13, which caused him to miss Week 14, and the early signs this week were that he would be available. He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and Crennel said indicated earlier in the week that Orton would start if he's healthy. Sounds like that's the case.

After Orton, QB Ricky Stanzi will be the backup and QB Tyler Palko will be the third string (if he's active).

So you ready for the Orton era?
