Jets Score First Against Chiefs, Lead 7-3 As Second Quarter Starts

The Kansas City Chiefs are down 7-3 against the New York Jets in a quiet game at the Meadowlands. The Jets' first drive was a long one that ended with a Mark Sanchez scramble for a touchdown. Javier Arenas committed a critical penalty that extended the Jets' drive.

The Chiefs benefited from great field position in the middle of the first quarter, with Ryan Succop nailing a 53-yard field goal to make the score 7-3.

That's where we are as the second quarter begins.
