It's gameday. The Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs. Arrowhead Stadium. Week 9.
And keeping up with first place in the AFC West.
As usual, I'm overly excited for this game (and Ms. Primetime says 6:30 a.m. is too early to be trying to talk to her about football so I'm here to blog about it). The Chiefs are favored to win the game but if you're like me you have this feeling that the game will be a lot closer than the records of both teams might indicate.
Bill Parcells used to say that you are what your record says you are, which is true. But in the case of his former team in South Florida, I'm not sure that's the case. They've been in most games, even leading in the fourth quarter. Plus, they're not at the bottom of the league in every statistical category.
So, yeah, I'm excited for this game but also a little nervous. Over-looking the Phins wouldn't be a good idea.
Who's ready for today?
