Raiders, Broncos Make Things Tougher On Chiefs After Week 12

The Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos were in first and second place, respectively, entering the weekend and there's where they'll be when they leave Week 12.

The Raiders beat the Chicago Bears, 25-20, and the Broncos beat the San Diego Chargers, 16-13 in overtime. The Chargers have now lost six straight games and guarantee at that, at 4-7, the Chiefs can do no worse than tie for last place tonight against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But the Raiders move to 7-4 on the season and the Broncos are 6-5, moving to 5-1 under Tim Tebow. This puts the pressure on the Chiefs tonight if they had any ideas of the playoffs. I was thinking eight wins might win this division but the Raiders are nearly there.

So tonight the Chiefs are playing for sole possession of...third place.
