The 2011 version of Thanksgiving Day football is here. The Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers in the first of three games today. The game kicks off at 11:30 a.m. (Arrowhead Time) on FOX.

Playing later today are the Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys and we cap the schedule off with the Harbaugh Bowl, San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens.

The Packers are obviously the best team in the NFL right now at 10-0 so they're four-point road favorites in Detroit. Aaron Rodgers might be the best player in football right now and he and the Packers have looked sharp nearly ever week so far this season.

The Lions are built for this type of game. To beat Rodgers and the Packers, you need a strong defensive line that doesn't need extra blitzers to get pressure on the quarterback. The Lions definitely have that along their defensive line. The offense, led by Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson, have enough firepower to hang with the Packers.

NFL fans have been waiting for this one for a long time. Who ya got in the first game?
