This game has become the blowout we expected it to be. The New England Patriots lead the Kansas City Chiefs 27-3 as the third quarter ends. On a bright note, the Chiefs just held the Patriots to a field goal after New England had first and goal.
Here are a few notes:
The Patriots started on a roll in the second half. They made quick work of the Chiefs' defense, scoring on another Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski touchdown pass. 17-3 in favor of New England.
Not too many plays later, Patriots KR Julian Edelman had a 72-yard punt return for a touchdown. 24-3, Patriots.
As the Chiefs were driving past mid-field, another poor Palko pass was intercepted by the Patriots. The rout is on.
So, pretty much what you expected right?
