NFL Picks Week 11: Cowboys-Redskins, Bengals-Ravens Highlight Best Games

New, comments
The Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots will meet on Monday Night Football this week but there are 13 other games to be played in Week 11. The Denver Broncos have already won this week, beating the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

As for the rest of the games, here are my picks....

Carolina Panthers vs. Detroit Lions: Cam Newton's the man but I gotta roll with Detroit here. They'll rack up another win, moving to 7-3 on the season, before facing the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day (a/k/a the game of the year).

Oakland Raiders vs. Minnesota Vikings: I'm actually rolling with Minny in this game. The Raiders quarterback situation has looked very good for one game but I'm not sure they can keep that going. Plus, with Darren McFadden possibly missing the game, it puts more pressure on Carson Palmer.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins: The Cowboys are a game out of first place while the Redskins season is essentially over. I'll take the Cowboys, the only team with something to play for. That and the fact that Rex Grossman is playing quarterback for Washington.
Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins have won two in a row so I'm tempted to pick them but Buffalo has been the better team over the course of the season so I'll take the Bills in this game.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cleveland Browns: Most boring game of the week? It just might be. The Browns offense is so painful to watch (and Jacksonville's it, too, but to a lesser degree) so I'll be taking the Jags to win this one.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens: An unlikely candidate for the best game of the week. Cincy and Baltimore are both tied for second in the AFC North at 6-3. Based on past history, I have to take the Ravens here.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers: Yawn. Green Bay wins by a couple touchdowns.

Seattle Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams: Another not-so-exciting game. When in doubt, take the home team. I'll take the Rams.

Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers are 8-1 and can clinch a share of the NFC West division with a win. They'll do that when they beat Arizona.

Tennessee Titans vs. Atlanta Falcons: If Chris Johnson is back, then the Titans are in this game. But I can't bet on that happening. The Falcons beat the Titans in this game.

San Diego Chargers vs. Chicago Bears: The Chargers are way, way too inconsistent to pick them to win and Chicago is one of the hottest teams in the league. I'll take Da Bears.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants: Michael VIck may not play which would mean Vince Young starts for Philly. It also means I'm picking the first place Giants to maintain the pace in the NFC East.
