Ben Roethlisberger Has Thumb Injury; Expected To Play Vs. Chiefs

After the Kansas City Chiefs visit the New England Patriots in Foxboro for Monday Night Football, they'll be back on the national stage the following week with a Sunday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

We're a week away from talking about the Steelers but we need to mention that QB Ben Roethlisberer has a thumb injury -- Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports he has a break in his thumb.

Despite that, Roethlisberger is expected to play in the Steelers next game, which comes on Sunday night against the Chiefs in Week 12. Pittsburgh has a bye this weekend.

Apparently the injury is a recurring thing and it shouldn't make a significant difference in the game considering he played well enough for the Steelers to beat the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

OK, back to the Patriots.
