Jonathan Baldwin And His Touchdown Are Up For Rookie Of The Week

It's been a while since we've had the opportunity to fix a vote but we have our chance with Kansas City Chiefs rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin this week. Baldwin is up for the NFL rookie of the week award after catching five balls for 82 yards and a touchdown on Monday Night Football against the San Diego Chargers.

Go here to vote for Baldwin as the NFL rookie of the week.

Baldwin's game was pretty huge at times. He had a reception that put the Chiefs in field goal range (Ryan Succop drilled it) and had another that gave them a first down in the overtime drive to win the game. Oh, yeah, he also caught this neat touchdown pass. This is his first big game in the NFL.

Here's Baldwin's competition, via NFL.com:

Buffalo Bills DE Marcell Dareus: Dareus tallied four tackles and 2.5 sacks in the Bills' 23-0 win over the Washington Redskins.

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton: Newton completed 22 of 35 passes for 290 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers' 24-21 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He also added 53 yards on 6 carries on the ground, while losing two fumbles.

Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder: Ponder converted 64.3 percent of his pass attempts for 236 yards and a score in the Vikings' 24-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Detroit Lions WR Titus Young: Young hauled in four catches for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' 45-10 victory over the Denver Broncos.
