We're seeing more and more signs that Kansas City Chiefs WR Jonathan Baldwin is making progress in his recovery of a thumb injury. The last two weeks the Chiefs have listed him as a limited participant in practice and now he's finally moved up a level.
Baldwin, according to the Chiefs injury report, practiced in full today. (!!!)
That's what we expected after hearing Chiefs head coach Todd Haley today but it's worth reiterating since, as Josh Looney notes, he hasn't practiced in full since Aug. 17.
So we finally have the first round pick practicing in full, after seven short long weeks. We won't know Baldwin's game status until the Chiefs are required to declare that on Friday. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised to see a questionable label put on Baldwin pushing the decision closer to game time.
Baldwin wasn't the only player on the Chiefs Wednesday injury report: S Jon McGraw was a full participant with a knee injury and WR Terrance Copper didn't practice with an illness.
Not on the injury report is CB Brandon Flowers, who was limited last week with an ankle injury. Sounds like he's good to go.
That's three players on the Chiefs injury report compared to the Colts' 10 players.
