Chargers Vs. Chiefs: 'The Biggest Game Of The Year'

The next game is always the biggest game of the year and that's especially true for the Kansas City Chiefs as they prepare to host the San Diego Chargers tonight on Monday Night Football. The Chiefs can become the first team since the 2000 Pittsburgh Steelers to start 0-3 and come back to win their next four games. (Note: Those Steelers won their next five games.)

Chiefs coach Todd Haley joined Mitch Holthus on the Chiefs Insider Show and talked about what he's deemed the biggest game of the year.
"I know the guys are feeling good but this is the biggest game of the year," Haley said. "Last week was the biggest game of the year and we handled that, but tonight is a big, big game for us that, if we can get we can get to 3-0 in this quarter of the season, that would be really good for the good guys."

It would be outstanding, almost unbelievable, for the good guys.

"I thought we played pretty good in that game against a team that was playing pretty well," Haley said. "This is a good team we're playing but really since the start of the season we've just been worried about us, how we need to do and how we need to play. I think that's really helped our guys. We're not really worried about the past or the future, we're just trying to take care of the task at hand."

The Chiefs won't look to the future but we will. If they win this, they grab a share of first place in the division with home games coming up against teams with a combined two wins (Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos).

This is huge.
