Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post tweeted this picture of snow on the ground at the Denver Broncos facility today and it reminded me that we're nearing the time of year when we might start seeing some snow for Chiefs football games. It got pretty cold last week in Kansas City with temperatures dropping into the 40s and 30s before warming up last weekend. It's starting to get a little chilly this week.
I looked at the Chiefs schedule trying to find the snow games and realized KC could be in for quite a bit of inclement weather this season.
It's supposed to warm up over the next week so we should be good as far as weather is concerned for Monday Night Football. As we roll into November, though, we could see snow at anytime. Kansas City weather is very unpredictable (but give me snow over that miserable summer humidity).
The Chiefs road games will probably result in some snow this season. They play at New England on November 21, at Chicago on December 4, at New York on December 11 and at Denver on January 1.
Prediction on the first game this year KC plays with snow on the field, home or away?
