Kansas City Chiefs Bring Back Anthony Becht

In what isn't a surprise at all, the Kansas City Chiefs announced the re-signing of TE Anthony Becht, who was with the team earlier this year.

This move comes after the Chiefs announced that WR Jeremy Horne had been waived and FB Shane Bannon had been placed on the practice squad injured list.

Becht went through part of training camp with the Chiefs and was cut on the final roster cut down. He returned 11 days later and stayed with the team for 12 days before being released once again. Becht indicated on Twitter he had a hamstring injury that would take a few weeks to heal and he said then he hoped to be back so

So Becht fills the open roster spot on the 53-man roster and I wouldn't be surprised if we heard tomorrow afternoon that Horne cleared waivers and returns to the Chiefs practice squad (but that's just a guess).

Becht joins a Chiefs depth chart that includes tight ends Leonard Pope and Jake O'Connell.
