Entering today's game against the Oakland Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs didn't have a rushing touchdown all year. Considering the Chiefs were the league's No. 1 ranked rushing team last year (and sixth entering Week 7 this year), that's been surprising.
In today's game, they finally got on the board with a pair of rushing touchdowns -- sort of.
First, it was Le'Ron McClain's touchdown run. The official stats credited him with the touchdown but he clearly fumbled before the ball broke the goal line and Jon Asamoah recovered. So it's McClain's touchdown by the stats but it was really an Asamoah fumble recovery in the end zone.
Second, in the video above, you'll see Javier Arenas, a cornerback, lining up in shotgun and running into the end zone. That's the type of day it's been for the Chiefs -- things are going their way but it's unconventional stuff.
It's 21-0 Chiefs right now in the third quarter.
