Jackie Battle, Le'Ron McClain Both Listed As Probable For Chiefs-Raiders

The Kansas City Chiefs won't have any injury concerns when they line up against the Oakland Raiders this weekend. The two guys listed on the injury report this week -- RB Jackie Battle and FB Le'Ron McClain -- were listed as probable for Sunday's game.

Both guys were full participants in practice throughout the week.

Battle was dinged up on his last carry nearly two weeks ago against the Indianapolis Colts and McClain left earlier in the same game. The Chiefs say both had neck injuries but it appears they're ready to roll this weekend.

Battle's presence is suddenly more important as many are predicting he'll see a growing role in the Chiefs running game. He passed the century mark on the ground two weeks ago after receiving 19 carries, far and away a career high for him.

With Thomas Jones' best days clearly behind him, and Dexter McCluster seeing only a limited role, Battle has a chance to be the feature back for the second consecutive game this weekend.
