Good morning and it's gameday once again. Today marks the end of the first quarter of the season and the Chiefs are looking to make up for their last home performance with a strong showing against the Vikings.
Let's take a look at how the line has moved, some fantasy football updates, and my picks for the day!
As we saw Monday in The Opening Line, Minnesota was at -1 and the total was at 40. As of 9:30 Arrowhead time, the line is now Minnesota -3 and the total has dipped to 39.5. It's been an interesting week monitoring this line. On many handicapping forums, this game is largely being ignored because of the uncertainty of which team (both sides) will actually "show up" for this game. Will it be the Vikings that dominate first halves or will it be the Chiefs who played a strong second half last week? Both? Neither? Obviously though some have found the decision to be a little easier as enough money has come in on the Vikings to push it to -3, yet still enough Chiefs money to keep it from going higher.
As I posted in various threads all week, the Chiefs +3 is the biggest wager I will make so far this year. I feel very confident that we are a much better team than the Vikings despite our injuries and poor performances. I don't wager with "homerism" or "kool-aid" because I like my money to stay where it is. Plus, with this number at 3, our side has great value in the event of a small loss. I also like the over for a smaller bet today for no other reason than that I think both defenses will bend and break at times today (Even 24-17 wins for that one).

The NFL has been far less kind to me than college football but today we look to turn it around:
Kansas City +3 (large)
KC/Minn Over 39.5
Dallas -2.5
Houston -3.5
Tennessee PICK
I lean towards New Orleans and Green Bay but I am laying off those.
Alright, here we go again. Is this the week? I say yes, but who knows what will transpire between the lines today. Whatever it is, it will make for yet another fun-filled week here at AP. Have a great Sunday everyone.
