The Oakland Raiders aren't saying whether their new quarterback, Carson Palmer, acquired Tuesday in a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals, will start this weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Palmer and head coach Hue Jackson held a press conference on Tuesday evening and Jackson was asked: Is Carson going to start against the Chiefs this weekend?
"You think I'm gonna tell you that right now?" Jackson said. "You know me a little bit better than that. You do try, all you guys try. I'm not going to let that out of the bag yet. You have to be ready for anything from me, I think you know that. We'll see as we continue to move through the week exactly where we are."
Either way, it's not a bad situation for the Chiefs. On the one hand, they could get a clearly less-talented quarterback in Kyle Boller. On the other hand, they could get a quarterback whose been on the team for five days.
We'll see what Todd Haley thinks about all this at his press conference this afternoon.
