One of the surprises in the Kansas City Chiefs Week 5 victory over the Indianapolis Colts came before the game when WR Jonathan Baldwin was ruled inactive for the game. Baldwin hasn't played at all this season but he was a full participant in practice in the week leading up to the Colts game so many of us thought he would be active.

After that, most of us expect him to be active against the Oakland Raiders in Week 7.

But that's not a lock to happen. Chiefs head coach Todd Haley said in his Monday press conference (viewed on KCChiefs.com) that it's no guarantee that Baldwin will be active this week.

Haley could be telling the truth and they really don't know if Baldwin will be active. Or he could be playing coy in order to keep the Raiders guessing. I'm just not sure which one it is.

I'll say what I said before Week 5: My best uninformed guess is that Baldwin will be active this weekend.
