No Chiefs Trade Rumors; Raiders, Broncos Can't Say The Same

Nope, no trade rumors involving the Kansas City Chiefs today but we can't say the same about Denver and Oakland.

The Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders are involved in several NFL trade rumors making the rounds as we near the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday. For the Broncos, that involves Kyle Orton and for the Raiders that involves a few available quarterbacks after Jason Campbell's injury.

The latest in Denver: The Denver Post reported that, if the Raiders called, the Broncos would listen to offers for Orton. He was recently demoted in favor of Tim Tebow so it makes sense that he might be available. Trading within the division is rare, especially for a quarterback, so I'd be surprised if something like this went down. While we're talking Orton, I think the Miami Dolphins should call after their trade talks over the summer fell apart.

The latest in Oakland: The Raiders are connected to several quarterbacks. First, there's talk that they reached out to Carson Palmer and the Cincinnati Bengals (as we noted earlier today) but that seems like an unlikely trade. Second, there's the Orton talk. Third, and this isn't a trade, but they have reportedly contacted David Garrard

That's about it for trade rumors in the AFC West. The San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs haven't been connected to any trade rumors and I doubt they get involved anywhere.
