The Kansas City Chiefs are entering the bye week after winning two consecutive games against the Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis. Those wins come right after three consecutive losses so the Chiefs sit at 2-3 on the season.

KC has some momentum right now, if you ask me, so I don't think the bye week comes at a very good time.

I'd prefer that the Chiefs have the bye a little later in the season. The Chiefs seem to feed off momentum as much as any team and they've won two straight with a chance to make it three against Oakland. If I could change the schedule right now, I'd push that bye week back to after the San Diego Chargers game on Halloween (that'd eliminate a short week), or perhaps even later in the season.

Under Todd Haley, the Chiefs are 0-2 after the bye so it hasn't necessarily helped them in the past.

The other side of the argument is that the Chiefs get an extra week to prepare for what is now the biggest game of the season against the Oakland Raiders. Those extra few days can give the players some rest and to work on the game plan for Oakland.

What say you, Chiefs fans? Is this a good time for the bye week? Or would you rather see it come down the road?
