WR Kevin Curtis Signed By Chiefs; Donald Washington To IR

The Kansas City Chiefs made several roster moves this week in preparation for Sunday's playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens. WR Kevin Curtis is coming to town, S Donald Washington is on IR and TE Cody Slate has been added to the practice squad.

Curtis comes to the Chiefs after starting his career with the Rams and continuing on with the Eagles and Dolphins. Miami released him on Dec. 28. His best season was 2007 with the Eagles where he caught 77 passes for 1,110 yards and six touchdowns. Curtis had surgery in September after being diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Washington heads to injured reserve ending his season with the Chiefs. He had been on the injury report the last two weeks with an ankle injury. He missed both games.

Slate is also added back to the practice squad after spending the summer with the Chiefs. He was released on Aug. 29

We'll see if Curtis is ready to roll this weekend.
