Good afternoon everyone.
I'm sitting in Kansas City's airport awaiting a flight to Dallas, Texas for the 2011 Super Bowl between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. I'll be down in Dallas all week as part of SB Nation's 2011 Super Bowl coverage.
I was supposed to be leaving tomorrow morning. But, if you're in Kansas City, you know about this ridiculous blizzard that's supposed to be coming so I made some changes to leave early.
So the rest of the week will be a little different because I'll be posting about a few of the things going on down here. Don't worry -- Chris is still here to handle the day-to-day. But you'll have some extra stuff from me.
The NFL is a small world so there are some cool Chiefs stories to be found even at the Super Bowl. For example, I'll be chatting with Detroit Lions DT Ndamukong Suh this week and asking him what he thinks about playing for a certain defensive coordinator Chiefs fans will remember.
Super Bowl week is always very, very busy and tiring. When "work" is covering the Super Bowl, you tend to get over that.
Hopefully the next time I do this the Chiefs will be playing.
