Just How Good Were The 2003 Kansas City Chiefs?

While checking out some Kansas City Chiefs news this morning, I came across this interesting list of the best teams of this decade not to win a Super Bowl . Naturally, the 2007 New England Patriots are the #1 choice, after going 16-0 in the regular season.

But the author's #10 choice is a name familiar to all of us: the 2003 Kansas City Chiefs:

This Chiefs team is known for two things. One was that amazing season Priest Holmes had and the other is the returns of Dante Hall. Dick Vermeil brought his high octane offense across state the Kansas City and (finally) made Trent Green into a premiere QB. These Chiefs lost to the Colts in the divisional round of the playoffs in a game that featured ZERO punts.

Take a look at the list here. I agree with the #2 choice as well: the 2001 St. Louis Rams. I do however think that the '03 Chiefs belong above the '07 Cowboys and maybe the '04 Pittsburgh Steelers

Where do the '03 Chiefs fit on this list?
