During NFL draft season, we'll pass along the names of players the Kansas City Chiefs may have shown some interest in or were seen talking with at one of the postseason all-star games. We do this knowing that the Chiefs will meet with the vast majority of the players out there.

Actually, they'll meet with all of them.

"We'll meet with every single kid here, whether it's the Senior Bowl, East-West, Texas vs. Nation, we are going to meet with all the kids," Chiefs GM Scott Pioli said in an interview with Josh Looney on KCChiefs.com. "They're here, our scouts are here, this is part of it. Every one of these kids has a chance to play in the NFL so we will spend time with every single kid.

"We'll interview with coaches, with scouts, I'll interview with some kids, Phil Emery will meet with them and Joel Collier, assistant GM, will, too. We will meet with and spend time with every single kid just meeting and trying to interview them but also doing some tests on them to figure out who these guys are. "

It's an interesting note to keep in mind that the Chiefs will meet with everyone. Because the Chiefs talk to player X doesn't mean they're going to draft him (obviously). Of course, the whole reason draft season is fun is because you imagine what player X could do if the Chiefs drafted him, so we'll keep bringing names of draft prospects along.
