Around The AFC West: John Elway, Chargers Tickets And More Al Davis

This is our third installment of Around The AFC West and I must say it's pretty entertaining. The AFC West isn't short of some drama right now but, fortunately, not much is going on with the Chiefs. If you can't get enough Al Davis, here's what the rest of the AFC West is talking about today:

Mile High Report has a lengthy piece on John Elway returning to the Denver Broncos. Here's a snippet: But does that success on the gridiron translate to success at the top of the Broncos organization? Absolutely, it does. Why? Because John Elway is a winner." They're also coming out with early mock drafts for April's draft. Remember, the Broncos have the No. 2 overall pick so they're going to be talked about a lot.

Saint from Silver and Black Pride is very entertaining to read. He's definitely a Raider fan (also a cool dude in person). Tom Cable and Al Davis' press conference have been the topic of conversation over there for a couple days. First up is a prediction that the Raiders will win 10-plus games in 2011 with Cable gone. There's also another Tom Cable post up talking about the Raider Way.

At Bolts From The Blue they're talking about the Chargers lowering ticket prices. From a Chargers press release: "The Chargers are lowering the price of nearly 10% of the tickets in Qualcomm Stadium while keeping the same prices for all other seats for a franchise-record fourth consecutive season." They're wondering what this means for staying in San Diego.
